Womans Conference in Salt Lake City

Rhonda Christal and I flew into Salt Lake on Tue night. and then met with friends and were able to go to a friends home and spend the night.

Wed we toured Salt Lake City and had a wonderful day. Rhonda's friend Tami and Christal's friend joined us and we spent the night in Lehi at Tami's sister home and Thursday Morning the conference started. It is really remarkable to see 22,000 sisters in one spot. As we traveled from one class to another it looked like a group of ants going along the sidewalks. I loved the talks and the spirit that was there. On Thursday night we went to a concert and I loved the Music. There was seven of us and we had a great time together. Came back home on Saturday

March & April 2009

the Month of March ended with a trip to the Mountain Man rendezvous up by Payson. Joey had invited me up an;d since the word "man" was In the title I decided to make the trip. Now I had never been to a get to gather before and when got up there it was boys, boys and more boys or I guess they would like to be called young men. Here and there were a few older men but they all looked so strange because they were mountain men and had Long hair cared tomahawks and black power guns. It looked like a dangers place to be. Really it was a great time and I'm glad I got to go and spend those few days in the mountain with Joey and Vanessa. Little did we know at that time that our wonderful Joey was sick with cancer..He is loved by so many and I guess Heavenly Father needs Trader Joe to help him on the other side.

Then in April the Ashcroft reunion was held and there was about 120 of us there. It was really nice just needed more time to renew are love for one another. After the reunion Shannon, David ,Pam and I were going to Paris but because of the spring break we could not all go together on stand by we were forced to go to Maui its the first time for me to go to Hawaii we had a wonderful time and stayed right on the beach. As we got off the plane I told the pilot that it was the bumpiest ride I had ever been on and he said" That's OK honey we don't charge extra for that.

Pam and Dave

Pam & David live in Gilbert and are always on the go and traveling someplace. I love the fact that she still works for the Airline, and we get to travel quite a a bit. Dave has a beautiful voice and is still singing at church and for family get togeather's . Pam is into every thing and is just a busy bee. I have never gotten over the fact that she makes up her mind to do something and does it. They have 3 children. Jennifer who is married to Jason and there children Kiersten who is being baptised soon and Skyler who loves computer games. Brandon ,who lives in Oregan we were able to visit him in Nov. And last but not least the beautiful Shannon. Who is planning on getting married in two years. I love her guy. He is a real sweatheart. If she decides not to marry him she can send him to me and I'll raise him right.Ha Ha! Don't get mad Shannon I'm only kiding.

They are a great family and I apprecate all they do for me.

Randy and Kathy

Randy & Kathy live in Canon City Colorado . He is retired from the Federal Prison Systom. They have 5 children. Tyson & Lori have 3 boys ,Darien, Gaven & Talon. They live in Oregon. Travis and Erica have two girls Taylor & Riley They live in Kansas. Tara & Kyle with their boy Kaleb and two girls Payton & Kamryn. They live in Safford Az.
Tiffany and Luke are in college near Denver Co. and the youngest Tanessa was just crowned gueen of the 2008 Blossom Pageant. She will compeet for Miss Colorado in October. Randy & Kathy are busy with building his home built planes, traveling to see the family, church & work.

Vanessa and Joey

Vanessa & Joey have a large family. They live in Lehi, Arizona. They own the Roofing Company and it would be nice if Mesa and the area would get a little more rain. After all if it's not raining who needs their roof fixed? There oldest son Terrel lives in Queen Creek Az. They have 4 Children,Brody, Cole ,Haylee,Tell . Lance is home with Mom and Dad and keeps everyone on there toes. Devon and Fawn have 4 boys Johnny, Damon, Gunner & Jack they live in Mesa. Dustyn and Brad live in Phoenix and they have two small children Brigham and Vanessa Jo. Lauren & Cody live in Mesa and have Tylee & Little Gauge. The youngest Dallen & hubby Curtis are on their way to work in Alaska for a short time. Sounds like just the chance of a life time. The Mortensen's have a wonderful family and they all seem busy and happy.

Bonnie and Kyle

It's off to a new start for Bonnie and her growing family now with 9 grandchildren she loves being grandma. They have just moved to Pinetop Az. Up to the cold country. but at least they are near Amy and she will now be able to spoil Amy's kids. (it's so much fun being grandma beacuse you can go and hide when the crying starts)We are going to miss them here in the valley but when it gets hot here I now have a new summer home. I'll bet they didn't think about that!!!. Kyle will say Oh no! here comes mom. Kyle say's here's my cell-phone number call when she leaves. I'm just kidding Kyle and I always have a good time try to get the best of each other Everyone seems to be well and happy and have busy lives. Amy and Dave live in Pine Top Arizona and have 3 daughters. Kyla, Saydee, and Macy. Chris and Leslie live in Gueen Creek and have Isaac, Austin,Brantie and Jayclynn. Amber and Aaron live in Fort Thomas and have 3 girls , Galatea,Seneca and Arianna.

Rhonda and Tom

The family is growing up fast with Sam & Jason expecting a new little one. So Rhonda is going to be a grandma. Oh that little one is going to be so spoiled because all the kids love babies and that child will never get to take a rest. Tony is on a Church mission in Conn. He sounds like he is a very good missionary.( Well we expected that.) he is on a spanish speaking mission and loves the spanch people as he say's they are so tachable. Crystal is arranging her life to study nursing. Westly is into sports. Hunter with his many friends. Rhonda with everything she is doing at church and the many jobs she does to help other people. She is the Relief Society president for her ward and it keeps her on the run. Tom on the go all the time with his trucking business. It keeps him busy as so many of the people you hire Just don't pan out.

Ron and Shani

Ron & Shani live near us and I call on him all the time. Ron please fix my computer! Start my lawn mower, fix the toilet. Poor boy, he has to go far away in an airplane so I won't bother him so much. Now he lives closer than ever so Watch out Ron. Five children 2 boys Travor, and Rulon and 3 girls Ashley ,Shiann.& Breanna As you can see their all beautiful and love good times. Ron and Shani are both very busy with jobs (where he has to fly all over the world) Shani busy working for the school. Jobs in church and running a taxi service for the kids.

Rachel and C.J.

Rachel and CJs Family - Rachel is our youngest Daughter and for this part of her life she is running all the time. She has 6 children. Bo the computer Expert, Chelsey the best little helper in the world . and JD who knows everything and likes to help with all kinds of work in the yard,motercycles, etc . Then comes the triplets Jhett, Judd, Jace . These boys can keep you reunning all day what one doesn't think about doing the other does. The other day I was correcting one boy and the other two ran over and stood by the one bening corrected. I guess they thought if one of us are in trouble we all are. Rachel is really a strong mommy and she just is able to do it all. She is still doing some hair and nails in her little shop in her home. CJ is a man of many talents and a good Dad.
